About Sagar Web Games
Sagar Web Games is a free games site made by Shani Sagar, an independent game developer from India, and the small studio behind it, Sagar Studio. Everything on the site plays in a web browser: no download, no installation and no account needed to play.
What you will find here
- Original studio games: more than a hundred games designed and built in our studio, from quick puzzles and word games to board and card games, sports, racing and party games.
- Games for phones and computers alike: every game is laid out for a phone held upright and for a wide computer screen, with touch, mouse and keyboard controls.
- Play together: most games offer a computer opponent with easy, medium and hard levels, two players on one device, and many have private online tables or a party mode where phones become controllers for a big screen.
- Games from independent creators: creators can publish their own browser games and downloads on the marketplace. Every upload is reviewed and security-checked before it goes public.
How we make the games
Each game starts from a classic idea, often a game people grew up with, like carrom, four in a row, solitaire, kabaddi or a falling-blocks puzzle, and gets its own name, rules polish, artwork, sounds and music. We test every game on phones and computers, in every mode, and keep improving them after release: the devlog explains how some of them were built.
We do not use trademarked names, characters or artwork from other companies. Games that involve chance use points only: there is no real money, no betting and no prizes on this site.
Who is behind it
Sagar Web Games is run by Shani Sagar. The same games are also offered to businesses as branded game portals, embeds and apps, managed from our own back office. If you run a website, an event or an app and would like games for your players, get in touch.
