Call Break Royale

Play Call Break Royale now · free, no download, no sign-up
Call Break Royale is the four-player trick-taking game loved across Nepal, India and Bangladesh, at a smart card table you can open in any browser. Thirteen cards each, spades always trump, and before a card is played every player calls how many tricks they will win. The fun is keeping your promise while the others try to break it.
It suits anyone who likes a card game with a clear goal and many small decisions. A match lasts three, five or ten rounds, and the pill by each player shows tricks won against tricks called. It is played for points only: no real money, no prizes and no purchases.
How to play
- Four players get 13 cards each; a hand with no spade or no picture card or ace is reshuffled.
- Everyone calls a number from 1 to 13: the tricks they expect to take.
- Follow the suit that was led; if you cannot, you must play a spade.
- With the must-beat rule on, you must also play higher than the best card in the trick, or overtrump a spade, when you can.
- The highest spade wins the trick; with no spade in it, the highest card of the led suit wins.
- Make your call to score it plus 0.1 per extra trick; fall short and you lose your call. The highest total after the last round wins.

Tips
- Count side-suit aces and high spades first; they are your surest tricks when you call.
- If you are short in a suit, your small spades can trump it later in the round.
- Once you have made your call, throw high cards onto tricks someone else is already winning.
- Calling too high is expensive: missing a call of 5 costs you 5 instead of earning 5.
About the game
Call Break belongs to the family of spade-trump trick-taking games, and its simple scoring turns every call into a small bet with yourself. Call Break Royale keeps the common table rules, including must-beat, which you can switch off for a more relaxed game.
On a phone in portrait your hand fans along the bottom; on a desktop the table spreads out and the number keys make play quick. Reward points have no cash value and unlock card backs and table scenes in the shop.
