Rock Paper Scissors

Play Rock Paper Scissors now · free, no download, no sign-up
This is the age-old way to settle who goes first, given a proper stage. Both players pick in secret, the hands shake to the count of rock, paper, scissors, shoot, and then flip at the same moment. Matches are best of three, so you need two wins to take it.
It is quick enough for a spare minute but deeper than it looks. The computer studies the patterns in your choices, and once per match you can play a power pick that doubles a win or turns a loss into a draw. It works well for kids, friends settling a bet, or anyone who likes reading an opponent.
How to play
- Choose rock, paper or scissors; your pick stays hidden until the reveal.
- Rock crushes scissors, scissors cut paper and paper covers rock. Same picks are a draw.
- First to two wins takes the match.
- Once per match you may add a power pick: Double makes a win count twice, Shield turns a loss into a draw.
- In Solo, draws are free but a single loss ends your winning streak.

Tips
- On medium and hard, avoid obvious habits like repeating a winning hand or always switching after a loss.
- Mix your picks deliberately; true variety is the best defence against a pattern-spotting opponent.
- Save Double for a throw you feel confident about, since it turns one win into two.
- Use Shield when you are one loss from defeat to buy an extra throw.
- Against a friend, watch what they played last; many people avoid repeating a hand that just lost.
