Play Sunny Solitaire now · free, no download, no sign-up
Sunny Solitaire is the classic patience card game known as Klondike, dressed in warm summer colours. You start with seven columns of cards on the table and a deck to draw from, and your goal is to move all 52 cards onto four foundation piles, one per suit, from Ace up to King.
It is the card game many people learned first, and it is still one of the most relaxing ways to spend a few minutes. Sunny Solitaire keeps the rules exactly as you know them and makes moving cards easy: tap a card and it jumps to the best spot, or drag it wherever you like. Faster wins earn more stars and a time bonus.
How to play
- Build the four foundation piles at the top from Ace to King, one suit each.
- On the table, stack cards in descending order with alternating colours, such as a red 7 on a black 8.
- Only a King, or a run starting with a King, can go into an empty column.
- Tap the deck to draw new cards, one at a time or three at a time.
- Tap a card to move it automatically, or drag it, with the cards on top of it, to where you want it.
- Win by placing all 52 cards on the foundations; when every card is face up, the game can finish itself.
Controls
On a phone or tablet
Tap a card to send it to the best place, or drag it with your finger. Tap the deck to draw.
On a computer
Click a card to move it automatically, or drag and drop it with the mouse. Click the deck to draw.
Game modes
Draw 1
Turn one card at a time from the deck. The friendlier way to play.
Draw 3
Turn three cards at a time, so only every third card is playable at first. Harder, and it scores the same.
Tips
- Reveal face-down cards as early as you can.
- Don't rush cards to the foundations if you still need them to hold other cards on the table.
- Keep an empty column for a King that frees many cards.
- Undo is unlimited, so use it to try another line when you are stuck.
- Use your three free hints per game when you cannot see a move.
About the game
Klondike solitaire has been played with a single deck of cards for well over a century and became familiar to millions on home computers. Sunny Solitaire follows the standard rules and adds helpful touches: tap-to-move, unlimited undo, hints and a cascade of cards when you win.
On a phone the cards are sized for portrait play and tapping is the fastest way to move. On a desktop drag and drop with the mouse feels like moving real cards.
