Lazy Lake

Play Lazy Lake now · free, no download, no sign-up
Lazy Lake is a calm fishing game about the quiet pleasure of a good catch. You cast your line, wait for the bobber to dip, hook the fish and then play it carefully, keeping the line tight without letting it snap.
It is made for winding down, but there is plenty to chase if you want goals: 42 original fish spread over five places, a collection book that records your best sizes, daily quests and a fish of the day. Weather and the time of day change what bites, so the same spot can surprise you.
How to play
- Hold anywhere to charge your cast and let go to throw; longer casts reach bigger and rarer fish.
- Wait for the bobber to dip, then tap quickly to set the hook.
- Hold to reel the fish in, watching the tension meter as it rises.
- Let go before the tension hits the red line or the line snaps, but do not leave it slack for long while the fish runs or it swims away.
- Every catch earns coins; spend them on better rods, lures and bait, and to open new fishing places.
- Fill your fish book, complete the three daily quests and look out for the fish of the day.

On a phone or tablet

On a computer
Hold the mouse button, or Space, Enter or Up, to cast and reel. In two-player mode one player uses Space or W and the other Enter or Up.
Game modes
Fishing trip
A relaxed three-minute solo trip at any fishing place you have opened.
Tournament
A two-minute contest against three computer anglers on easy, medium or hard, with a live leaderboard.
Two players
Fish side by side on a split screen on one device; the heaviest total catch wins.
Tips
- Pulse the reel in short holds rather than holding constantly; it keeps tension under control on strong fish.
- Try a place at a different time of day or in different weather if you are missing a fish in your book.
- Upgrade your rod before chasing big fish, since a better rod holds more tension.
- Lures help bring in rare fish, while bait makes bites come sooner, which matters in short tournaments.
- Cast long when you are hunting size, and shorter when you just need quick catches.
About the game
Fishing games have long offered a gentle rhythm of anticipation and reward. Lazy Lake keeps that rhythm simple, with a single hold-and-release control for casting and reeling, and puts the depth into where, when and with what you fish: a lily lake, a willow river, a sea pier, a mangrove and a night pond.
The one-touch control suits phones held in one hand, and on desktop the same actions map to the mouse or a single key, so the game feels the same on any screen.
