Super Over

Play Super Over now · free, no download, no sign-up
Super Over is a short-format cricket game seen from a broadcast camera behind the bowler. With the bat you read where the ball will pitch, pick your shot and time it; with the ball you choose pace or spin and try to land it on the right spot.
It suits cricket fans who want a quick innings on the go as well as players looking for a longer challenge. Matches can last a single over or five, with a chase ladder and a full tournament for those who want more, and replays of every six and wicket.
How to play
- When batting, a glowing marker shows where the ball will pitch, so read it before the ball arrives.
- Play your shot as the ball reaches you: drive full balls, pull short ones, loft to go big or defend to survive.
- Early timing sends the ball to the leg side and late timing to the off side.
- After a hit, tap RUN once for each run, but going for too many can get you run out.
- When bowling, choose pace or spin and a variation, then stop the moving marker where you want the ball to pitch.
- Clearing the rope on the full is six, reaching it along the ground is four, and catches or stumps are out.

Tips
- Let the marker decide your shot: full length means drive, short means pull.
- Use the loft sparingly, mostly when you need big runs late in the chase.
- Running two on a well-placed shot is often safer than lofting for six.
- When bowling, vary between pace and spin so the batter cannot settle.
- Watch your timing direction: being slightly early or late changes which side of the field the ball goes.
About the game
A super over is cricket's one-over tie-breaker, and this game builds around that tense, every-ball-counts feel. Batting relies on reading line and length rather than button mashing, and bowling rewards accuracy.
The broadcast view behind the bowler works well in portrait on a phone, with shot buttons in reach of your thumbs, while desktop players can bat entirely on the keyboard. A field view follows the ball after each hit.
