Moto Blaze is a 3D motorbike racer on a hilly four-lane road where two of the lanes carry oncoming traffic. You lean your bike through the corners, power-slide for a mini-turbo, fire nitro to lift the front wheel, and squeeze between cars for a lane split. Hit something hard, though, and your rider is thrown off.
It is made for players who like speed with a bit of risk. Races are three laps long, so a session fits into a few minutes, and you can ride by day, at sunset, at night under street lamps with your headlight on, or under cloud. Coins from your races buy new paint for your bike.
How to play
- Steer left and right to lean into the corners. On touch screens the bike accelerates by itself; on a keyboard you hold the throttle.
- Hold slide while turning to power-slide. The longer the slide, the bigger the mini-turbo when you let go, from blue to orange to purple.
- Use nitro to lift the front wheel and reach top speed. Refill it with slides, slipstreams, near misses and nitro bolts on the road.
- Pass between two vehicles for a lane split worth 600 points and a quarter of the nitro bar.
- The oncoming lanes fill nitro quickly and hide gold bolts, but a head-on crash throws you off.
- After a wipeout your rider climbs back on and is untouchable for a second.
Controls
On a phone or tablet
Tap the left and right buttons to steer, with SLIDE, NITRO and BRAKE buttons on the other side; or switch on tilt steering and turn the phone like a handlebar.
On a computer
Steer with the arrows or A and D, hold up or W to accelerate and down or S to brake, Space or X to slide and Shift or Z for nitro. In split screen the players use WASD and the arrow keys.

Three laps against five computer riders on easy, medium or hard.
Time trial
No rivals, just the road and your best lap times.
2 players
Split screen on one device for you and a friend.
Online
A private table for up to four players on their own phones; computer riders fill the grid to six.
Tips
- Release the slide on a straight after a long slide to get the purple mini-turbo.
- Take hill crests carefully, because you cannot see the traffic on the other side.
- Lane splits are the fastest way to fill the nitro bar.
- On hard, rivals overtake in the oncoming lanes, so watch both them and the traffic.
- A wipeout costs about two seconds, so sometimes a quick brake is faster than a risky gap.
About the game
Moto Blaze draws on arcade motorbike racers and traffic-weaving road games, combining racing lines and rivals with the thrill of dodging cars. It shares its race engine with our car racer Nitro Lanes, tuned for a bike that leans, wheelies and can throw its rider.
On a phone you can play with large buttons or hold the phone sideways and tilt it to steer. On a desktop the keyboard gives precise control, and two players can race in split screen on one keyboard.
