Timber Tycoon

Play Timber Tycoon now · free, no download, no sign-up
Timber Tycoon puts you in charge of a small sawmill on a sunny river island. Logs drift into your catcher, a saw turns them into planks, a belt carries them to the stack yard and trucks haul them away for coins. Every coin goes back into the business, so a sleepy mill grows into a busy chain of workshops.
It suits anyone who likes watching something they built get faster, in short sessions or long ones. There is always a next upgrade within reach, and the real puzzle is spotting which step is holding the rest back. Coins and gems are points only: no real money, no prizes and no purchases.
How to play
- Logs float into the log catcher; the saw cuts them into planks that ride the belt to the stacks.
- When a loaded truck shows GO!, tap it to send it off and get paid for its load.
- Tap a green upgrade badge on the catcher, a machine or the trucks, then buy one level, ten or as many as you can afford.
- Milestone levels (10, 25, 50 and so on) double that step's speed or truck load.
- Tap BUY tiles to build a second and third machine, an extra truck bay or a foreman, who sends trucks for you.
- Save up to open the Pine Forest, the Stone Peak paper works and the Harbour workshop, each with a pricier product.

Game modes
My mill
Your saved business with four areas to open. Foremen keep it earning while you are away, for up to two hours.
Vs computer
A mill race: two fresh riverside mills side by side, and the first to the cash target wins. Pick an easy, medium or hard rival; a win adds gems to your saved mill.
2 players
The same race split across one screen. Each player taps only their own mill, trucks and badges.
Daily
One race on today's river for everyone, with its own log flow, plank price, truck speed and target. Your best time and your streak are kept.
Tips
- Upgrade the slowest step first; the upgrade sheet marks it as the slowest step.
- Hire the riverside foreman early so your trucks leave on their own.
- Tap the golden logs that drift down the river for bonus coins or gems.
- Tapping a busy saw gives it a short burst of extra speed, which helps in a race.
- In the last seconds of a race, stop spending: only cash in hand counts toward the target.
About the game
Timber Tycoon builds on the idle and tycoon tradition of production chains, where you balance supply, processing and delivery so nothing piles up. Goals give gems, which buy a three-minute double-speed boost or a time warp that pays out half an hour of earnings at once.
The island is drawn in a soft 2.5D view. On a phone in portrait you zoom in on one area and tap with your thumb; on a wide desktop screen you see more of the river, and in a race both mills sit side by side.
