Air Hockey

Play Air Hockey now · free, no download, no sign-up
Air Hockey puts a glowing neon table in your hands. Your mallet follows your finger or mouse and passes its speed to the puck, so a fast swipe means a hard shot and a gentle touch lets you control the rebound. The goal is simple: knock the puck into the slot at the far end and keep it out of yours.
It is built for short, lively games: a two-minute match on a break, a best-of contest with someone sitting next to you, or a solo run chasing a new goal record. Real puck physics make bank shots off the side rails and angled deflections feel natural, and that is where most of the fun lies.
How to play
- Move your mallet by dragging your finger, or by moving the mouse on a computer.
- Hit the puck toward the far goal; the faster your mallet moves, the harder the shot.
- Bounce the puck off the side rails to get it around the defender.
- A match is first to 7 goals, or the most goals in two minutes, depending on the match type you pick.
- In 2 players mode each player owns one half of the table and both can touch at the same time.
- In the solo rush, score as many goals as you can in 90 seconds past sliding blockers; an own goal costs five seconds.
Controls
On a phone or tablet
Touch and drag on your half of the table; the mallet follows your finger. In 2 players mode each person uses a finger on their own half.
On a computer
Move the mouse to steer the mallet. Fast mouse movements give the puck more speed.
Game modes
Solo
A 90-second goal rush: shoot past sliding blockers and try to beat your best tally.
Vs computer
Play Rookie on easy, Ace on medium and Legend on hard. The computer predicts bounces to defend, lines up attacking shots and, on hard, uses the side rails too.
2 players
Two people share one phone or tablet, each defending their own end with true multi-touch.
Online table
Create a private table, share the code or link, and play a friend who joins on their own device.
Tips
- Stay between the puck and your goal when you are defending.
- Don't chase the puck around the table; let it come to you, then strike.
- Hit the puck off-centre to angle it past the opponent's mallet.
- Bank shots off a side rail are much harder to read than straight shots.
- In the solo rush, time your shots for the moment a blocker slides out of the way.
About the game
The game follows the arcade table where a puck floats on a cushion of air and two players slap it back and forth. Here the table is drawn in neon light and the puck keeps its speed off the rails, so rallies can get very quick. Wins against the computer earn coins and build a win streak.
On a phone the table runs in portrait and you play with your thumb or finger, which makes two-player games on one device easy. On a desktop the mouse gives precise control and the table sits in a wide window.
