Block Drop is the falling-blocks line-clear puzzle with jelly candy pieces. Seven shapes made of four blocks fall into a 10 by 20 well. Move and rotate each one so it fits, and fill a whole row to clear it. Let the stack reach the top and the game ends.
It has the modern features keen players expect, such as hold, a five-piece preview, a ghost piece, combos, back-to-back bonuses and spin bonuses, while staying friendly for beginners in the endless Marathon mode.
How to play
- Move and rotate the falling piece, then drop it into place.
- Fill a full row to clear it; clearing four at once is a quad.
- Use hold to save a piece for later, and watch the ghost piece to see where it will land.
- Clear lines on consecutive pieces for combos; spins and back-to-back clears pay extra.
- In battle modes, your clears send garbage rows to your rival, and clearing lines cancels garbage coming at you.

On a phone or tablet
Tap to rotate, drag to move, drag down to soft drop, flick down to hard drop and flick up to hold.
On a computer
Arrows move, Up or X rotates, Z rotates back, Down soft drops, Space hard drops and C holds.

Tips
- Keep one column open at the edge so you can drop the long piece in for a quad.
- Keep the stack flat; deep holes are hard to fill later.
- Use hold for the long piece when you are not ready to use it.
- Check the preview so you can plan two or three pieces ahead.
- In battles, a steady stream of combos can send more garbage than waiting for one big clear.
