Gate Slide is a colour-block jam puzzle. Chunky blocks of different shapes sit in a tray with coloured gates around its edge, and your job is to slide each block out through a gate of its own colour, clearing the tray in as few moves as you can.
It is a satisfying puzzle for anyone who likes untangling a crowded space. Early levels teach the idea in a few moves, and later ones add one-way arrows, ice, chains and timers. Every one of the 150 levels was built and checked to be solvable, and unlimited undo means mistakes cost nothing but a move.
How to play
- Drag a block and it slides anywhere its shape fits; each drag counts as one move.
- Bring a block to a gate of the same colour that is wide enough, and it slides out of the tray.
- Clear every block in as few moves as possible to earn up to three stars.
- Arrow blocks only slide in one direction, and ice blocks melt after a few moves.
- Chained blocks are freed when the key block leaves, and a red timer block must leave before its count runs out.

Tips
- Look for a block that can exit right away and clear it first to open space.
- Check gate widths before moving: a wide block needs a wide gate.
- Move key blocks out early when chained blocks are blocking the way.
- Keep an eye on timer blocks and route them out before anything else.
- If you are a move or two over par, undo back to the first wasted move rather than restarting.
About the game
Sliding-block puzzles have been around for well over a century, from wooden toys to traffic-jam puzzles. Gate Slide adds coloured exits, so every move is about both making space and getting the right block to the right gate.
On phones the tray fills the portrait screen with big blocks for easy dragging; on desktop the mouse gives precise control and keyboard shortcuts speed up undo and hints. Coins unlock block skins and trays.
