Candy Nova is a match-3 puzzle with a space theme. You swap two neighbouring candies to line up three or more of the same colour, and they pop, letting new candies fall in from above. Bigger matches create special candies with lasers and blasts, and combining specials sets off chain reactions across the board.
Each level has goals to clear in a limited number of moves, such as gold jelly to wipe away and frost crystals to shatter. It is easy to pick up for short breaks, yet planning a combo a few moves ahead is what earns three stars. Levels keep coming, grouped into colourful galaxies.
How to play
- Swipe or tap two neighbouring candies to swap them and match three or more.
- Match four in a line to make a striped laser candy that clears a whole row or column.
- Match in an L or T shape to make a wrapped bomb that blasts a 3x3 area.
- Match five in a line to make a Nova colour bomb that zaps every candy of one colour.
- Match on top of gold jelly or next to frost ice to clear the level goals before you run out of moves.
- Moves left over at the end turn into bonus points toward three stars.
Controls
On a phone or tablet
Swipe a candy toward its neighbour, or tap one candy and then the other, to swap them.
On a computer
Drag a candy with the mouse onto its neighbour, or click both in turn.

An ongoing series of goal-based levels grouped into themed galaxies, each with a move limit and up to three stars.
Boosters
Spend gems on the Lollipop Hammer to smash any tile, the Nova Wand to make a colour bomb or a free swap, or a Shuffle.
Tips
- Make matches near the bottom of the board to start long falling cascades.
- Swap a Nova colour bomb with a striped or wrapped candy to turn every candy of that colour into a special.
- Match right next to frost crystals, or hit them with lasers, to shatter the ice.
- Look for L and T shapes; wrapped bombs clear tight corners well.
- Save moves when you can, because leftover moves become bonus points.
About the game
Candy Nova follows the tile-swapping match-3 tradition that grew from early gem-matching puzzles, with candies, jelly and ice as the familiar ingredients. Its own twist is the cosmic setting and the Nova bomb, which turns big matches into board-wide explosions.
On phones it plays in portrait with quick swipes. On desktop the mouse is precise and the larger board makes it easier to spot combos.
