Car Escape is a parking-jam puzzle. The lot is packed with cars, vans and trucks pointing in every direction, and your job is to get them all out. Tap a car and it drives forward; if its lane is clear all the way to the road, it leaves the lot. If something is in the way, it bumps into it and rolls back.
It is a short, thinking puzzle for any age. Early lots teach you to read the lanes, and later ones add move limits that make every tap count. The pleasure is in spotting the one car that unlocks the rest and watching the lot empty in a satisfying rush.
How to play
- Tap a car to drive it forward; with a clear lane it drives out of the lot.
- Swipe along a car toward its tail to back it out instead.
- A blocked car bumps the first car or cone in its way and rolls back, which costs a move.
- Clear every car to finish the lot; later lots have a move limit.
- Finish without any bumps for three stars.
- Use Undo to take back a move, Hint to see the best car to move and Tow to lift any car away.
Controls
On a phone or tablet
Tap a car to drive it forward, or swipe along it to choose forward or reverse.
On a computer
Click a car to drive it, or drag along it for reverse. Z or Backspace undoes, H shows a hint and T uses the tow truck.

Solo levels
A growing series of parking lots, each built so it can always be solved, with move limits arriving in later lots.
Tips
- Look along a car's nose: is the lane clear all the way to the road?
- Trucks block a lot of space, so free them early.
- Cones never move; plan your route around them.
- Remember a car can also back out toward its tail.
- Save the tow truck for the one car that blocks several others.
About the game
Car Escape grows out of the sliding-car puzzles played with wooden blocks and later on phones, but here cars drive straight out rather than sliding to an exit. Levels are generated by working backwards from an empty lot, so any position you reach can still be cleared.
On phones it plays in portrait with simple taps and swipes. On desktop you click cars and can use the keyboard shortcuts for boosters.
