Colour Commute

Colour Commute is a rush-hour puzzle about getting people home. A parking lot is jammed with cars, vans and buses in different colours, and a queue of passengers waits at the station. You free the vehicles one at a time, park them in five pickup bays, and each passenger climbs into a vehicle that matches their colour.
It suits anyone who likes a calm puzzle with a little pressure. Every tap matters, because a bay taken by the wrong colour can block the queue, and the fun is in reading both the lot and the line of passengers so the right vehicle is waiting at the right moment.
How to play
- Tap a vehicle in the lot. If nothing stands in front of it all the way to the edge, it drives out and parks in the first free bay.
- If its way is blocked, it bumps, honks and stays put; bumps cost you stars.
- The passenger at the front of the queue boards the earliest-parked vehicle of their colour that still has a free seat.
- Cars hold 4 passengers, vans 6 and buses 10. A full vehicle drives away and frees its bay.
- If all bays are full and none matches the passenger at the front, the station is jammed.
- Clear the whole lot and the whole queue to win the level and earn stars and coins.
Controls
On a phone or tablet
Tap a vehicle to drive it out, and tap the helper buttons at the bottom of the screen when you need them.
On a computer
Click a vehicle to drive it out and click the helper buttons beside the board.
Game modes
Solo
A long run of levels that grow from a few cars in three colours to big lots with buses and seven colours.
Daily
One puzzle a day, the same board for everyone, with a streak and a share line for your stars.
Vs computer
Race a computer driver on the same lot in split screen, set to easy, medium or hard. The first to clear their lot wins; a jam means you lose.
2 players
The same split-screen race for two people on one phone or computer, each tapping on their own half.
Tips
- Look at the next few passengers before you tap, not only the one at the front.
- Free the vehicle whose colour is needed soonest, even if another one is easier to reach.
- Keep at least one bay empty while you can; it gives you room to recover.
- Buses carry ten people, so park one only when a long run of its colour is coming.
- Save Valet for a vehicle that blocks several others.
About the game
Colour Commute builds on the popular bus-jam style of puzzle, where a jammed lot and a queue of colour-coded passengers must be solved together. Every level here is made by a generator and checked by a solver before you see it, so each one can be cleared with the five standard bays.
Helpers are there when you are stuck: +1 Bay opens a sixth bay, Shuffle re-orders the waiting passengers while keeping the level solvable, and Valet lifts any vehicle straight to a bay. Coins from cleared levels unlock paint jobs for your vehicles. On phones the game plays in portrait; on a computer the board sits in the middle with the helpers beside it.
Questions
- Is Colour Commute free?

- Can two people play on one device?
- Yes. 2 Players splits the screen so each person races on their own lot.
- Does it save my progress?
- Your level, stars, coins and paint jobs are saved in this browser on this device.
