Elixir Lab

Play Elixir Lab now · free, no download, no sign-up
Elixir Lab is a colour-sorting puzzle set in a glowing alchemy lab. Flasks hold stacked layers of coloured potion, all mixed up. You pour from one flask to another, but liquid only lands on the same colour or in an empty flask. When every flask holds a single colour, the brew is complete.
It is a relaxing puzzle for anyone who enjoys tidy, logical problems without time pressure. Early levels take seconds; later ones add more colours and mystery brews whose lower layers stay hidden until you uncover them, which makes you think several pours ahead.
How to play
- Tap a flask to lift it, then tap another flask to pour into it.
- Liquid only lands on the same colour, or in an empty flask.
- Fill every flask with one colour to complete the brew.
- In mystery brews, hidden layers are revealed only when you uncover them.
- Use Undo, Hint and an extra flask when you are stuck.
- Fewer helpers used means more stars for the level.

Game modes
Levels
An ongoing series of brews that add colours as you go. Every level is checked by a solver, so it can always be solved.
Mystery brews
Special levels where buried layers are hidden until the liquid above them is poured away.
Tips
- Keep one flask empty for as long as you can.
- Pour onto flasks that are already almost one colour.
- When you are stuck, undo a few moves rather than restarting.
- Uncover mystery layers early, so you know what you are working with.
- Think about where the top layer will go before you lift a flask.
About the game
Elixir Lab follows the water-sort and ball-sort puzzles that became a popular casual genre: a few containers, a few colours and one simple pouring rule. Its potion theme, hidden mystery layers and star scoring give it a character of its own.
On a phone the flasks are large and easy to tap in portrait. On a desktop you click instead, and the wider screen shows every flask at a glance.
