Fleet Strike

Play Fleet Strike now · free, no download, no sign-up
Fleet Strike is the pen-and-paper naval guessing game brought to a glowing tactical holotable. Each side hides five ships on a grid, then you take turns calling shots at the other side's waters. A splash means a miss, a burning marker means a hit, and when every part of a ship has been hit it sinks with a boom.
It is a calm, clever game that works for all ages: part luck at the start, part deduction once you land a hit. You can play a campaign of admirals, a quick game against the computer, a pass-and-play match with a friend, or a private online game where your fleet stays on your own device.
How to play
- Place your five ships by dragging them onto your grid; tap a ship to turn it, or press AUTO for a random layout.
- Take turns firing at a cell on the enemy grid. A white ring is a miss and a burning marker is a hit.
- Hit every cell of a ship to sink it. Sink all five enemy ships to win.
- In Salvo rules you fire one shot for every ship you still have afloat.
- In Specials rules each side also has one radar scan, which checks a 3×3 area, and one torpedo, which runs along a row to the first hull it meets.
- You can combine Salvo and Specials in one game.

Online
Open a private table and share the code or link. Each fleet stays on its own device until it is hit.
Tips
- Ships never sit diagonally, so after a hit try the four cells around it.
- Search in a checkerboard pattern: the smallest ship covers at least two cells, so you can skip every other cell.
- Once you know a ship's direction, fire along that line until it sinks.
- Spread your own ships out and sometimes use the edges; the hard admiral expects them in the middle.
- Save the radar scan for a large open area where it can rule out or reveal several cells at once.
About the game
Fleet Strike is based on the naval guessing game that people have played on squared paper for generations. It keeps the classic five-ship rules and adds the Salvo variant, special shots, a campaign and unlockable looks bought with coins.
On a phone it plays in portrait and every action is a tap or a drag. On a desktop the larger screen makes both grids easy to read, and the mouse makes ship placement quick.
