Pool Pro is top-down 8-ball against computer hustlers. You aim by dragging on the table, a guide line shows the ghost ball and where both balls will go, and a power slider lets you choose how hard to hit. Spin on the cue ball lets you follow through, draw back or bend the ball off a cushion.
The game is a ladder of eight cities, from a pub table in London through Sydney, Berlin, Toronto, Tokyo, Rio and Las Vegas to Monaco. Each city has a rival, an entry fee in coins and a bigger prize, and stronger rivals give you shorter guide lines. It suits anyone who likes a calm, thinking game with a bit of competition.
How to play
- Drag on the table to aim; the guide shows the ghost ball and the paths of both balls.
- Pull the cue down on the power slider and let go to shoot.
- Tap the cue ball icon to choose top, back or side spin.
- The first ball you pot after the break decides your group: solids or stripes.
- Pot all of your group, then the 8 ball to win.
- A scratch, hitting the wrong ball first or no cushion after contact is a foul and gives your opponent ball in hand.
- Potting the 8 before your group is cleared loses the frame.

Climb through eight cities, each with its own club and rival. Later rivals are stronger, the guide lines get shorter, and some matches are races to two frames.

Tips
- Hit the cue ball low for back spin to draw it back after contact.
- A centre hit on a straight shot stops the cue ball dead.
- With ball in hand, place the cue ball where your next shot is easy.
- Don't pot the 8 until your group is cleared.
- Plan two shots ahead; position matters more than a single hard pot.
About the game
Eight-ball is the most widely played pocket billiards game, with seven solids, seven stripes and the black 8. Pool Pro keeps the standard rules for groups, fouls and ball in hand, and wraps them in a travelling career where each win builds a streak and unlocks the next city.
On phones the table is shown in portrait and the power slider sits under your thumb. On desktop the mouse gives very fine aiming, which helps with thin cuts.
