Slide 2048 is the classic number-sliding puzzle. Numbered tiles sit on a 4 by 4 board, and every swipe slides all of them as far as they can go in one direction. When two tiles with the same number meet, they merge into one tile showing their sum: two 2s make a 4, two 4s make an 8, and so on.
After each move a new small tile appears, so the board slowly fills up. Your aim is to reach the 2048 tile, and after that you can keep going for an even bigger one. It is a simple idea with a lot of depth, perfect for puzzle fans who like to plan a few moves ahead.
How to play
- Swipe, or press an arrow key, to slide every tile in that direction.
- Two tiles with the same number that touch merge into one tile with their sum.
- Each merge adds the new tile's value to your score.
- After every move a new tile appears in an empty space.
- Reach the 2048 tile, then keep playing for a new record.
- The game ends when the board is full and no tiles can merge.
- UNDO takes back your last move. You get one free undo per game.
Controls

Swipe up, down, left or right anywhere on the board.
On a computer
Press the arrow keys, or drag with the mouse in the direction you want the tiles to slide.

Classic
A solo game on the 4 by 4 board that lasts until you run out of moves. Your best score and biggest tile are saved.
Tips
- Keep your biggest tile in one corner.
- Swipe mostly in two directions, for example down and left.
- Build a chain of decreasing tiles along one edge so they can merge in a row.
- Avoid swiping away from your corner unless there is no other move.
- Merge small tiles early so they do not clutter the board.
