Play Cricket Bowling now · free, no download, no sign-up
Cricket Bowling turns a painted street wall into a gully cricket pitch. Chalk stumps stand on your half of the wall and a batter guards them. Hit the stumps with your ball and the bails fly: that is a wicket, and a new batter walks in. Bonus boards for a four and a six add runs for extra glory.
The game is built for events where players throw real soft balls and a LiDAR sensor sees each hit. On this website, a tap or a click does the job of the ball, so cricket fans can bowl a quick spell on a phone or laptop any time.
How to play
- Throw, tap or click on the chalk stumps on your half to take a wicket.
- Sometimes the batter steps forward to defend and the bat covers the lower stumps, so aim higher.
- Hit the chalk FOUR box for four runs or the SIX board for six runs.
- Take three wickets with three balls in a row for a hat-trick.
- Each round lasts 90 seconds; most wickets wins and runs break a tie.

Tips
- Wickets decide the match, so go for the stumps first and the run boards only when you have a spare moment.
- When the batter comes forward, the top of the stumps is still open; adjust your aim upward.
- A hat-trick needs three hits in a row, so take an extra second to line up each ball once you are on two.
- In a close game, a quick six can be the tie-breaker because runs separate equal wicket counts.
- Watch the batter's stance between balls; a defending batter usually means a high throw.
About the game
Gully cricket is played in lanes and courtyards everywhere the sport is loved, often with a tennis ball and stumps chalked on a wall. Cricket Bowling captures that spirit: no pitch, no pads, just you, a ball and a batter trying to keep you out.
At an activation, a LiDAR sensor reads where each soft ball strikes the projected wall. At home you tap on a phone held in landscape or click on a desktop. The stumps, bat and boards are the same, so you can practise your line before bowling at the real wall.
