Drop Four Wall

Play Drop Four Wall now · free, no download, no sign-up
Drop Four Wall puts the four-in-a-row board game on a giant wall. It is made for events: the board is projected, players throw soft balls at it and a LiDAR sensor detects which column each ball hits. On this website a tap or a click stands in for a throw.
It suits families, school fairs and corporate events, because everyone already knows the rules. The twist is physical: you have to hit the column you want, and a miss passes the turn.
How to play
- Players take turns throwing at the board; a hit anywhere in a column drops your disc into it with a bouncy fall.
- Missing the board, hitting a full column or running out of time passes your turn.
- Four in a row across, down or diagonally wins the game.
- A match is best of three games.
- Land a disc on the golden bonus coin for extra points.
Controls
On a phone or tablet
Tap a column to drop your disc there.
On a computer
Click a column. At an event, the operator can press Space or Enter to start, Esc to pause and R to return to the title.
Game modes
Solo
Puzzle rush: win each position in one, two or three moves while the computer defends, with two minutes on the clock.
Vs computer
A virtual thrower at easy, medium or hard takes its own turns; best of three.
2 players
Red and yellow alternate throws; best of three.
Tips
- The middle column takes part in the most lines, so claim it early.
- Block three in a row before it becomes four.
- Make two threats at once: your opponent can only block one.
- Throw calmly; a miss costs your whole turn.
- In puzzle rush, look for the forcing move before you throw.
About the game
Four-in-a-row is a classic two-player strategy game played on an upright grid. Turning it into a throwing game adds aim and nerves to the strategy, which makes it great to watch at an event.
On a phone the board fills the screen and you tap columns. On a large display or projector it becomes a crowd game, with turns passing between two throwers.
