Goalkeeper Save

Play Goalkeeper Save now · free, no download, no sign-up
Goalkeeper Save puts you between the posts. A striker runs up and shoots at your goal, a ring shows where the shot is heading, and you make the save by throwing your ball at the flying shot before it crosses the line. A hit close to the ball deflects it away.
It is designed for events, where a LiDAR sensor detects each thrown soft ball on a projected wall. On this site a tap or click stands in for your throw, so football fans can test their reactions on a phone or desktop and learn the shot patterns.
How to play
- Watch the striker run up; a target ring shows where the shot will cross the line.
- Throw, tap or click on the ball while it is in flight to save it.
- As the round goes on, shots curl, dip as lobs and finally come from two strikers at once.
- In Solo, letting in three goals in a row is a streak break.
- After two minutes, the player with the most saves wins.
Controls
On a phone or tablet
Tap on the moving ball to save it. With two players, the left half is player 1's goal and the right half player 2's.
On a computer
Click on the shot with the mouse. Operators can start with Space or Enter, pause with Esc and return to the title with R.
Game modes
Solo
Make as many saves as you can in two minutes and keep your save streak alive.
Vs computer
A virtual keeper defends the other goal at easy, medium or hard.
2 players
A split wall with a goal each. Most saves in two minutes wins.
Tips
- Use the target ring: it appears before the kick, so you know where to be ready.
- Hit the ball in the middle of its flight rather than at the last moment near the line.
- Curling shots bend, so follow the path that is drawn rather than a straight line from the striker.
- When two strikers shoot at once, save the shot that will arrive first.
- Near misses still count if they are close to the ball, so a fast throw in the right area beats a slow perfect one.
About the game
Every street football game has a keeper who ends up in goal because the team was short. Goalkeeper Save is a reaction game built around that moment: read the shot, react fast and get something in the way. Shots start straight and simple, then add curl, dipping lobs and double attacks.
At events, a LiDAR sensor turns the projected goal into a target that reacts to real throws. On a phone, held in landscape, you tap the ball; on a desktop you click it. The mouse is a little more precise, while a phone feels closer to snatching at a real shot.
