Blade Toss is a one-tap timing game. A round wooden target spins in the middle of the screen, and you throw knives into it one at a time. Each knife has to land in open wood. Touch a knife that is already stuck and the stage is lost.
Throw all your knives and the target smashes apart, taking you to the next stage. The spins change speed and direction, and every fifth stage is a boss target with trickier movement. It is quick to pick up, great for a few minutes on a phone, and the further you get, the more your timing is tested.
How to play
- Tap to throw a knife into the spinning target.
- Your knife must not touch a knife that is already stuck in the target.
- Use up all your knives to smash the target and move to the next stage.
- Every fifth stage is a boss with harder spin patterns, including changes of direction.
- Hit apples on the rim to collect coins.
- Spend coins on new knives on the title screen.

Tips
- Watch the gaps between knives rather than the target itself.
- When the target slows down, that is usually your moment to throw.
- Bosses reverse direction, so wait for the turn before you throw.
- An apple is only worth the risk if the gap around it is wide.
- Count the spins to find a rhythm on steady stages.
About the game
Blade Toss is built on the popular knife-throwing style of arcade game: one button, a spinning target and a growing ring of blades that leaves less and less room. Coins and unlockable knives give you a goal beyond the next stage.
On a phone you can play one-handed with a thumb tap. On a desktop a click or the Space bar gives very consistent timing, which helps on the boss stages.
