Fruit Slice

Play Fruit Slice now · free, no download, no sign-up
Fruit Slice is a juicy swipe game: fruit arcs up from the bottom of the screen and you slice it with a glowing blade. Each fruit splits along your cut and splashes juice. Slice several in one swipe for a combo, or cut quickly through the centre for a critical hit, but never touch a bomb.
It is quick to pick up and ideal on a touch screen, where every finger becomes its own blade. Modes range from a calm survival run to a frantic timed race against the computer or a friend.
How to play
- Swipe across fruit to slice it.
- Slice three or more fruits in one swipe for a combo bonus.
- A fast cut through the middle of a fruit is a critical worth 10 extra points.
- In Classic, a bomb ends the run, and dropping three fruits does too; every 100 points wins a life back.
- In timed modes, a bomb costs 10 points instead.
- In Arcade, power fruit appear: frostberry slows time, starfruit starts a frenzy and dragonfruit doubles points.

On a phone or tablet

Classic

Tips
- Wait a moment for fruit to bunch at the top of their arc, then cut through several at once.
- Short, fast swipes through the centre earn criticals more often than long lazy ones.
- Keep swipes away from bombs; in Classic one touch is game over.
- In Arcade, slice frostberry when the screen is busy so you can catch more fruit.
- Save dragonfruit for a moment when lots of fruit is about to come up.
About the game
Slicing games became a touch-screen favourite because a swipe feels like a real cut. Fruit Slice builds on that with physics fruit halves, juice splashes, power fruit and a split-screen race against the computer or another player.
On a phone, multi-touch lets you slice with several fingers at once. On a desktop, holding and dragging the mouse works well. Stars from every run unlock new blades and backgrounds.
