Maze Muncher

Play Maze Muncher now · free, no download, no sign-up
Maze Muncher is a neon take on the dot-eating maze classic. You steer a hungry muncher around a maze, eating every dot to clear it, while four jelly chasers try to catch you. Grab a power pellet and the tables turn: the chasers go blue and you can munch them for big points.
It is a game of quick decisions and route planning, good for short sessions or a long high-score climb. Each chaser has its own personality, so learning how they move is the key to getting further.
How to play
- Steer the muncher through the maze and eat every dot to clear it.
- Touching a chaser costs a life, unless they are blue.
- Power pellets turn the chasers blue for a while; eat them in a row for 200, 400, 800 and 1600 points.
- Side tunnels wrap around to the other side of the maze.
- Bonus fruit appears twice per maze, and you earn an extra life every 10,000 points.

Tips
- Learn the four chasers: Rush follows you directly, Trap tries to get ahead of you, Swoop flanks alongside Rush and Wobble wanders.
- Save power pellets until chasers are close, so you can eat several in one go.
- Use side tunnels to escape; they let you jump to the far side quickly.
- Swipe before you reach a corner so you turn without slowing down.
- Clear outlying areas first and leave a pellet nearby for when the chasers bunch up.
About the game
Maze chase games, with dots to eat and ghosts to avoid, defined the golden age of arcades. Maze Muncher keeps that loop and gives it four neon mazes, jelly chasers with distinct behaviours and a computer race mode that adds a new kind of pressure.
On a phone, swiping anywhere on the screen steers, and buffered turns make tight corners easy. On a desktop the keyboard gives crisp control. Two players can share one screen, each with their own maze.
